Translated as "The Especially Merciful."

Allah’s compassion and specific mercy for the Believers.

The one who will show special love, care, and mercy to the believers in this world and in the hereafter in their greatest hour of need.

Raheem indicates that which is:

• Extremely and continuously loving and merciful.

• The dispenser of grace and love as a result of deeds and supplications.

• The One in whom mercy is constantly and endlessly repeated.

Translated as "The King & Owner of Dominion."

Allah SWT alone is the true King and we, being His subjects, are obliged to abide by His commands.

Allah's Kingship is total and encompasses all that is in the universe.

He is the one who reigns dominion over the heavens and the earth and everything that resides within them. There is nothing above Him, and He is alone.

Translated as "The Holy, Absolutely Pure."

It refers to Allah as the One who is free from any imperfection, perfect and absolutely pure. He is above and beyond anything that can be considered unholy or unclean.

• This name serves as a reminder for us to keep ourselves free from blemish by avoiding sin and doing good deeds.
• In Islam, righteousness is heavily emphasized. By striving to purify ourselves, we strengthen our relationship with AL-QUDDUS and aim to attain righteousness.

Translated as "The Source of Peace."

As the ultimate creator, He is the source of all peace and security, loving peace and order. This is evident in the Islamic norm of salutation, "Assalamu Alaykum" (peace be upon you).

Translates as 'The Overseeing Protector'.

It is He Who has granted us safety and security.

Meaning the one who ensures well being and protection over His creation. Refers to His supreme nature as being the guardian or the absolute authority. He is the ever-watchful, not just limited to the superficial, He can see all which is concealed in the hearts. Nothing can be kept a secret from Him.

"He knows what is in the heavens and earth; He knows what you conceal and what you reveal; God knows very well the secrets of every heart." (64:4)

Translates as 'The Most Mighty'

He is the one who is most powerful and strong. He is the conqueror that is never conquered and never harmed. This is because His strength, glory, and power are overwhelming, and cannot be overcome or resisted. He is the only one with complete mastery over all creation.

He exercises his unchallenged power with utmost kindness, justice and forgiveness. Those of us whom Allah has blessed with some authority should strive to imbue this trait. Since Allah alone enjoys all power and might, we must turn only to Him for all help.

Translates as 'The Overpowering, The Restorer, The Repairer'.

Allah salvages us in our crisis and comforts and consoles us in our loss and sorrow. Moreover, it is He Who enables us to see and follow the straight way which will accrue success to us in this world and the next.

We understand that He is the one who elevated our rank. He benefits His creation but needs no benefitting Himself. This name can be a reminder not to inflate your ego and to avoid self-aggrandizement, "Thus does Allah seal over every heart (belonging to) an arrogant tyrant." (Qur'an 40:35)
